Upgrade IT Network To Solve Sonos Issues

This was a quick project to update an existing and problematic Sonos Multi-Room Audio system while also improving the WiFi around the property.

We installed new Cat6a cabling which allowed us to ‘Hard Wire’ all of the Sonos Amplifiers to the Network to ensure reliability, added a Draytek Vigor Series Router and also added two Vigor AP910C WiFi Access Points.

The Sonos Players are now very stable and the homeowners have a robust and fast Wireless Network inside this large property that allows them to control the Sonos Players from their Smart Devices.
